WEC Thailand teams are typically formed of 4 to 5 people, missionaries and local co-workers, and exercise a variety of ministry gifts to see the gospel take root in unreached villages and districts.
Living and ministering as intercultural teams in cross-cultural environments can be challenging. Team members must have faith in the purpose of God, a willingness to work together with others, and a commitment to persevere through difficulty. WEC Thailand values teams of people working together with complementary skills and gifts. People who are committed to a common purpose, strategy and goals for which each are jointly responsible. We are committed to one other. We hold each other accountable for our lives and ministries. And we work interdependently to accomplish our vision.
Currently we have ministry teams involved in the following ministries:
- Establishing vibrant churches among the Thai in rural and urban contexts.
- Training and empowering church leaders among the Thai and the Karen people groups.
- Teaching the children of missionaries at Grace International School, and caring for those living away from home in the WEC Hostel.
- Administration and Orientation team supporting the other ministry work.
We are hoping to establish a Missional Business team or two in the near future. Watch this space!
